The retreat will occur in Central Washington, either in Chewelah or Grand Coulee. The exact location and accommodation details will be provided closer to the event.
 
What’s the nearest airport?
Nearest airport: Grand Coulee: Spokane International Airport (GEG) OR Chewelah: Spokane International Airport (GEG) (the closest airport will be TBD when accommodations are finalized closer to the hunt). 
 
Is transportation included?
No, transportation to and from the hunt is not included.
 
Is airfare included in the retreat cost?
No, airfare is not included. Guests are responsible for booking their own flights.
 
Will I be sharing a room?
Yes, participants will have double occupancy rooms.

Do I need to bring my own gun?
It is recommended to bring your own shotgun. If you don't have a shotgun please send an email to info@heroutdoorjourney.com prior to purchasing a spot in retreat. 
 
 
Will there be Wi-Fi and cell service at the accommodations?
Wi-Fi will be available at the accommodations, but cell service may vary depending on the provider.
 
What should I pack for the hunt?
A detailed packing list will be provided upon booking.
 
Do I need to be a certain age to attend?
Participants must be 18 years or older.

How do I reserve a spot for the retreat?
Simply book your spot by adding the hunt to your cart and completing the checkout process.
 
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your deposit to another participant or receive a 75% credit (of your payment) toward a 2026 HOJ event. In the unlikely event that the guides need to cancel, you will receive a full refund.
 
Do I need to tip my guide?
While tipping is optional, it is greatly appreciated. 10-20% is standard.
