We will break our group of six hunters into two groups of three plus your hunting guide.

Each hunter will get multiple opportunities on both species.

the land

We will be hunting on a free ranging cattle station. The station spreads across 4,000 acres in the midst of the picturesque Liverpool Mountain range. This area is a game rich environment. There will be no shortage of kangaroo sightings, wombats roaming about, and if you are lucky the sighting of one of the most iconic and underrated Australian animals; the Echidna.

You will be lodging in a cozy cabin overlooking the mountain range. Wake up and enjoy your coffee on the wrap around porch. Hammocks are spread around for those who want a place of solitude to rest, meditate, or even keep a journal about your many adventures shared during your stay.

Testimonials

"The friendships you come away with from Courtneys camps are a sisterhood you never knew you needed. I’ve formed the most beautiful relationships with women across the country and I’m a better person myself because of them. They’ll walk through fires with you, laugh with you, and love you unconditionally.

Go for the knowledge and expertise, leave with a fuller heart and a soul lit on fire!!”

No, you do not need a hunting license or tag for this hunt.

What do I need to know about traveling to Australia?

If you are visiting from out of the country, you will need a valid passport as well as a holiday visa, which can be applied for easily on the ETA Australia app, or follow the link below.

We recommend flying with Emirates or Qantas when flying to Australia. Qantas often has round trip deals from LAX priced around $1,100USD. You will be flying into the SYD airport.

Are there any physical requirements for this trip?

Yes, we ask that you come with a moderate fitness level, and the ability to hike 5-6 miles per day over mountainous terrain carrying your bow and backpack. We will ask you to rate your fitness level from 1-5 so we can match you with others of a similar fitness level during this hunt.

What are the lodging arrangements like?

The hunting property is located approximately 3.5 hours from Sydney. You will be lodging in a cozy cabin overlooking the mountain range. The wrap around porch is one of our favorite places on the property to sit and have a morning coffee. Hammocks are spread around for those who want a place of solitude to rest, meditate, or even journal about your many adventures shared during your stay.

What hours will be expected to participate in daily?

You can expect to be woken up at approx. 5:30am (Australia time). If you are not an early riser we suggest setting your alarm early for a week before your retreat to get into the habit of an earlier start. We aim to be in bed each night no later than 9:30pm to allow for a good night sleep so you are fresh each morning. This will depend on the seasons of course, but we will always prioritize a healthy amount of sleep to help you keep up with the full days of adventure.

What is the alcohol policy on the hunting portion of the trip?

We ask that you please do not consume alcohol during the hunting portion of the retreat as we need your mind to be clear and your body fit for target practice and hunting. We want you to be in complete control of your mind, body and breath. Take advantage of this detox from alcohol, social media, processed foods and the stresses of life!

Where will we be hunting?

The hunts will be conducted on a free range cattle station. The station spreads across 4,000 acres in the midst of the picturesque Liverpool Mountain range. Due to proper land management the area is a game rich environment. There will be no shortage of kangaroo sightings, wombats roaming about, goats, boars, and if you are lucky the sighting of one of the most iconic and underrated Australian animals; the Echidna. You may even get a visit from the resident Goanna.
