This is an especially fun episode and I am excited to be joined by my gorgeous friend, Katie Van Slyke out of Tennessee.
Together we share common roots having grown up hunting alongside our fathers and we get to relive old stories, talk about our first harvests, and of course, chat about being female hunters.
Katie and I catch up and hammer out the trials and tribulations of being a woman when it comes to supporting one another, ridicule from internet trolls, and backlash from other hunters.
Walk along with us on her first-ever elk hunt as she retells the story about how it all went down, what she didn't expect to happen, and what she wants to hunt next!
